  • Students will be required to purchase a clinical uniform and instruments at the beginning of Year 1 of this course. Additional expenses will be incurred for attending external work-integrated learning (WIL) placements and intensive schools including return travel and accommodation in all years of the course.
  • To complete a proportion of the clinical hours in this course, students will require access to a registered podiatrist for supervision purposes. This might be at a podiatry clinic local to the student's home or could be in the on-campus university clinic.
  • IELTS (academic module) with a minimum overall score of 7 and a minimum score of 7 in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking) or equivalent test (including PTE, OET and TOEFL iBT).
  • We will accept ELP scores over a maximum of two test sittings in a six-month period only if:
    • The student has achieved a minimum overall score of 7 in IELTS (or equivalent test) in each sitting, and
    • Achieved a minimum individual score of 7 in IELTS in each component across the two sittings, and
    • No score in any component of the test is below 6.5 in IELTS.
    • If sitting the test over two sittings, results must be from the same acceptable test. For example, both IELTS tests.
    • Attended and satisfactorily completed either an undergraduate degree or at least four years of any combination of secondary or tertiary education, including at least two years between years 9 to 12, taught and assessed solely in English in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, UK or USA.

English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements Students must meet one of the following criteria:

Born in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, USA, or United Kingdom, and have completed at least one senior secondary or tertiary qualification in one of these countries. This qualification must have been taught and assessed in English; OR Not born in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, USA, or United Kingdom, but have completed senior secondary study or at least three years of full-time university study (or equivalent) in one of these countries, and the language in which the qualification was taught and assessed was English; OR Completed a minimum overall Academic IELTS score of 7.5 (with no score below 7 in reading and writing, and a score of no less than 8 in speaking and listening) or a qualification deemed equivalent.
