The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is Griffith's premier research training degree. It is your opportunity to explore a specific research area or topic that you are passionate about. You will be challenged to develop your original research project and receive mentoring and guidance from your supervisor.

This is your opportunity to expose yourself to an intensive research environment. You will develop expertise in research and learn the concepts, methods and skills required to apply knowledge with creativity and initiative to new situations.

Be on the leading edge of Indigenous research. Develop confidence in navigating Indigenous and non-Indigenous standpoints, creating new approaches to complex issues.

Undertake research in a health and health services related topic under the supervision of an academic staff member in the School of Medicine.

Make a significant contribution to exercise science/sport by undertaking PhD research. You can commence PhD research in areas such as exercise science/sport and physical activity and nutrition.
