Higher degree by research students may apply for funding for a variety of research activities such as attending conferences in order to present a research paper, undertake field work (such as archival research or interviews), payment of expenses relating to a peer-reviewed publication. Funding is provided on a competitive basis, normally up to $3,000 per round and a maximum of $5,000 per year. Please consult the Research Grants Policy for detailed information.
There are three rounds of applications each year. Applications must be received at the Research Office by the advertised closing dates.
