Applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology must meet the following Admission Requirements:

• Completion of Charles Sturt University's Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) within the previous ten years with a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or higher in core level 2 & 3 psychology subjects of the accredited sequence
• OR Completion of Charles Sturt's Graduate Diploma of Psychology within the previous ten years with a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or higher

Entry requirements

• A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent) with minimum ATAR required (including adjustment factors) OR
• Successful completion of at least two Bachelor degree level subjects (or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent) or higher in any discipline OR
• A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate III or higher, studied at a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent OR
• A completed Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC) or bridging program studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University, or equivalent OR
• Partial completion of a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma, of at least 50% from a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent OR
• Work experience of at least two years full time equivalence duration with some elements of management or supervision demonstrated by a detailed resume OR
• Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with an equivalent ranking to the currently listed ATAR.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of a relevant three-year AQF Level 7 degree course that contains at least one year, or the equivalent, of full-time studies in the social and behavioural sciences.

The full year of prerequisite study and/or specified content must be completed prior to commencing study. Where prerequisite study has not been met, it can be completed:

• by single subject studies;
• through the Graduate Certificate in Human Services, for students who are assessed as having already completed six months/four subjects of relevant content;
• as part of another qualification at undergraduate or postgraduate level

International students who have not completed a Certificate IV or higher qualification in the English language consistent with the requirements for admission to an AQF Level 9 degree course in Australia must have a minimum score of 7.0 or higher in each component (listening, reading, writing and speaking) of the Academic IELTS test upon application.

A Bachelor Degree (or AQF equivalent) in any discipline from a University or other tertiary education provider.

To be eligible for admission to this course applicants must meet the minimum entry criteria listed below:

• A completed Bachelor degree or higher from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent).

Applicants without an equivalent tertiary qualification will be admitted via Graduate Diploma in Professional Information Technology pathway. For admission to the Graduate Diploma, applicants are required to have a minimum of a 3 years tertiary qualification equivalent to an Associate Degree. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Information Technology and receive credit for applicable subjects.

This course is designed to assist existing intelligence practitioners, and those hoping to access this field.

As such students who are already working in as an intelligence analyst/practitioner, as well as those who hope to enter the profession, may be admitted (on a case by case basis) to the course.

Applicants will normally have an undergraduate degree and relevant intelligence and analysis professional experience.

Master of Business Administration Applicants are required to have:

• An undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) in a business discipline OR
• An undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) in ANY discipline and relevant work experience in a role that requires some supervisory and/or discretionary decision making responsibility.

Applicants without a bachelor degree qualification may be admitted to either the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration or (for international students requiring an Australian student visa) the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration on the basis of a combination of:

• Prior post secondary study and/or professional attainmentAND
• Significant relevant work experience

Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate/Diploma, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master Business Administration and receive credit for applicable subjects.
