This combined degree offers you the opportunity to develop conceptual, theoretical and technical skills to become a practicing artist with flexibility to explore other areas across the University, create a study profile that reflects your expertise and widen your career prospects.
Please note: This course will no longer be available from 2022 onwards. Please apply for Master of Philosophy (Arts and Social Sciences) instead. Develop research and advanced coursework skills and work alongside a research supervisor and auxiliary supervisor.
Entry Requirements
Admission to candidature requires: (i) a bachelor's degree with honours in an appropriate area of study from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification; or (ii) a Master of Education by coursework from the University of Sydney with a weighted average mark of at least 75, or equivalent qualification.
The Master of Education (Educational Management and Leadership) examines concepts in educational administration and management, from theories and models of organisational behaviour to understanding change processes and their effects on organisations.
Entry Requirements
Admission to candidature for the Master of Education (Educational Management and Leadership) requires:
a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either the completion of postgraduate studies, or professional experience equivalent to one year full-time in a field considered by the Faculty to be appropriate to the program of study; or
a bachelor's degree and either the Graduate Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either the completion of postgraduate studies in Education, or professional experience equivalent to two years full-time in a field considered by the Faculty to be appropriate to the program of study.
If you do not meet the requirements listed above for direct entry to the Master's degree, you may be able to enter via a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in the same subject area and upgrade to the Master's after successful completion of the shorter course.
