Entry Requirements

Successful completion of an APAC accredited four-year sequence in Psychology with either

  • a minimum upper second class Honours (2A) or
  • Graduate Diploma in Psychology with a minimum GPA of 6.00.

All applicants are required to provide:

  • 2 referee reports submitted via www.psychologyreference.org and
  • a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and cover letter addressing why you are interested in the CDU Course; to be uploaded to your application at the time of submission.

Invitations to attend an interview will be extended to applicants based on a combination of academic performance, CV and references.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of:

  • a recognised bachelor degree in any field; and
  • the equivalent of one-year full-time study in behavioural or social science units, whether this be included in the completed degree or in the form of additional qualifications at diploma or above level.

If you do not meet the requirement of one-year full-time study in behavioural or social science you can apply for the Graduate Diploma of Health and Social Care.

Due to professional recognition, applicants who have completed a Bachelor of Social Work undergraduate degree accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers will not be eligible for entry into this course.

Related areas include: public health, health science, primary health care, medicine, social science or health promotion

Note: Bachelor of Nursing is not an approved degree for this course. Applicants with a degree in this field are encouraged to apply for either the Graduate Diploma of Health Research or Public Health. Applicants with extensive experience in rural and remote practice may be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Applicants who have completed Charles Darwin University's Graduate Certificate of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control (UIDPC1) or Graduate Certificate of Epidemiology (UEPID1) are also eligible for entry.

Entry Requirements
