This Masters by Research program sees candidates working with a Principal Supervisor, appointed by the Research Higher Degrees Sub Committee, with the approval of the School.
The Master of Philosophy aims to expand knowledge beyond the undergraduate honours or postgraduate diploma level, culminating in a research thesis. Upon completion of a master by research degree, you may apply to be considered for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program.
Our Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed for current and aspiring leaders who want to develop their business knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills. The curriculum emphasises experiential learning through case studies, simulations and real-world projects.
This course is designed to extend theoretical knowledge and associated techniques to a higher level. Students focus on one of the three areas, although coursework and research may be carried out in both areas.
The Master of Business is a program designed for professionals aspiring to make the move to management roles, for current managers seeking formal qualifications and for those looking to move careers.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Business, a student must:
hold any Bachelor degree (or higher) from a recognised university (or another tertiary institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale); OR
hold a related Bachelor degree (or equivalent) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale) - students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing; OR
hold a related Bachelor Honours or Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) from a recognised university (or another tertiary institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale) - students will be eligible for 80 credit points of advanced standing; OR
hold a Graduate Certificate in Business (3306) or a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics (3389) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale) students will be eligible for 40 credit points of credit; OR
hold a related Graduate Certificate with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale) students may be eligible for up to 40 credit points of credit; OR
have a combination of alternative admission criteria such as formal, informal and non-formal learning deemed to be equivalent to one of the above.

have a combination of alternative admission criteria such as formal, informal and non-formal learning deemed to be equivalent to either of the above.
