Applicants for the environmental health major must satisfy the following requirements:

• A completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher award)
  with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4 (on QUT's 7 point scale
  in any discipline; and
• A minimum of 48 credit points (equivalent of one semester full time study) of basic science units that were completed at the bachelor degree level and must include:
  • 12 credit points (one subject) of foundation chemistry; and

• Medicine (Australian degrees only)

• Any other health discipline not listed above

• Biomedical science

• Human services

• Journalism

• Media and communication

• Medical laboratory science

• Social work

Master of Public Health - 2 year program

A completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher award) in any discipline with an overall grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Pathway into Master of Business

1.5 year program - For students with an undergraduate degree in the same discipline as their nominated Master of Business major

BS37 Graduate Certificate in Business and Communication (one semester) leading to BS11 Master of Business (Applied Finance Human Resource Management Integrated Marketing Communication International Business Management; Marketing Public Relations or Strategic Advertising) (two semesters) (96 credit points of advanced standing).

2 year program - For students with an undergraduate degree in business (or related field of study) in a discipline that is different to their nominated Master of Business major

BS37 Graduate Certificate in Business and Communication (one semester) leading to BS11 Master of Business (Applied Finance Human Resource Management Integrated Marketing Communication International Business Management; Marketing Professional Accounting Public Relations or Strategic Advertising) (three semesters) (72 credit points of advanced standing).

2 year program - For students with an undergraduate degree in any discipline

Master of Digital Communication (Project Pathway option) - 1.5 year program:

• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in a relevant discipline*; or
• Completion of QUT's Graduate Certificate in Digital Communication with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
• A completed recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) and at least 6 months (full-time equivalent) professional experience in relevant discipline such as such as advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations. Students applying on the basis of work experience must submit a detailed CV position details and employment statements.

Master of Digital Communication (Project Pathway option) - 1 year program:

• A completed Australian Honours Bachelor degree with a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication a relevant discipline*; or
• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline and a completed Graduate Certificate with grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline*; or
• Completion of QUT's Graduate Diploma in Digital Communication with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline and a minimum of 2 years of (full-time equivalent) professional experience in a relevant discipline such as such as advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations. Master of Digital Communication (Advanced Project Pathway option) - 2 year program:

• Completion of QUT's Graduate Diploma in Digital Communication with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
• A completed recognised bachelor degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale) in digital communication or a relevant discipline and a minimum 2 years of (full-time equivalent) professional experience in relevant discipline such as such as advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations. Master of Digital Communication (Advanced Project Pathway option) - 1.5 year & 1 year program options : Not available. Students who choose the Advanced Pathway will not receive the full amount of advanced standing to complete the masters in a shorter duration.

*Relevant study disciplines and work experience include: digital communication advertising animation communication interaction design journalism media marketing or public relations.

You must have a recognised bachelor degree or masters by coursework with at least a major in financial planning with a minimum grade point average of 5.00 (on QUT's 7-point scale) completed within the last 2 years plus:

• Suitable honours topic
• Proposed honours supervisor

If you do not meet the grade point average requirement but you have:

• Excelled in the final semesters of your degree; or
• Completed a double degree and excelled in the business or commerce part of your double degree

All current BS06 Bachelor of Business (Dean's Scholars) graduates will automatically receive an offer to start within three weeks of the current semester results being released. Please contact the Honours Coordinator in the relevant School to discuss academic supervision before commencement of the course.
