Virtual Postgrad Study Fair 2020

How it works

Read on to find out how to get the most out of the fair

Review the fair timetable

There are over 100 individual sessions hosted by key academic and admissions staff from top Australian postgraduate institutions.

Begin by setting aside time to become familiar with the timetable of events.

  1. The timetable is organised by broad study fields, so begin by selecting the study field that meets what you're interested in studying.
  2. Review the sessions being held and save them to your PostgradAustralia profile and your calendar
  3. Do some reading on the subject and presentering institution and come prepared with your questions.

Save the dates

Don’t miss your sessions! Virtual events can be easy to forget because we don’t have physical travel as a reminder.

This is a very unique opportunity to gather information and have your questions answered live, so take it seriously and record it in your diary or e-calendar and set a reminder.

Download Zoom

We’ll be using Zoom to power the video calls during the virtual fair.

Download the app for PCMacAndroid or iOS in advance so there’s no delay in joining the sessions.

Join, learn and ask questions

When the fair is live, join sessions by clicking the "Join video booth" links.

Most sessions will involve a presentation for the first 30-40 minutes followed by live Q&A for the remainder. Check the individual event page for details.

IMPORTANT

Some video rooms will be recorded for the benefit of future students and those who aren't able to attend the career fair. Content may be used by the event host, the exhibitor, or on a Prosple website.

All participants will have their video camera and microphone muted by default when they join. If you are not comfortable with having your voice of face recorded, please keep your video off and microphone muted.

With that in mind, we encourage all of you who are comfortable with being recorded to keep your video on to make for a better experience with employers. You can at any time request to have content you are featured in removed from the web by sending an email to contact@prosple.com.
