Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Global Public Health, applicants must have:
a related Bachelor degree from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale);
OR a Graduate Certificate in Public Health* from Griffith University with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale);
OR a related Graduate Certificate (or equivalent qualification) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale).
* Students applying for admission via this pathway may be eligible for Advanced Standing or specified credit of up to 40 credit points depending on courses completed in the Griffith Graduate Certificate in Public Health program. Credit applications for other Graduate Certificate programs are assessed individually and will require assessment of similarity in learning outcomes.
Students who wish to transfer from the Master of Public Health to the Master of Global Public Health must do so before graduating from the Master of Public Health.

hold a suitable bachelor degree in a related field (Public Health, Health Services Management, Environmental Health, Allied Health, Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Clinical Research, Biomedical Health and Social Science) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale);
OR hold a suitable qualification (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Bachelor Honours degree) in a related field such as Public Health; Health Services Management; Environmental Health; Allied Health, Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Clinical, Research Biomedical Health and Social Science with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale);
OR have completed the Graduate Certificate in Public Health (3147)* with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale).
