The Master of Philosophy aims to expand knowledge beyond the undergraduate honours or postgraduate diploma level, culminating in a research thesis. Upon completion of a master by research degree, you may apply to be considered for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program.

In this course you will gain extensive theoretical knowledge in omics science, technology and the application in healthcare. You will apply this new knowledge to undertake a real-world health-care project and develop your interdisciplinary research skills to tackle global health challenges.

A recognised Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, including evidence of studies in either biochemistry or chemistry and either mathematics or statistics , or completion of the Graduate Certificate in Systems Medicine or Graduate Diploma in Systems Medicine with a course average of 65% or higher. Exceptional applicants with a lower GPA scores who also have research experience and/or relevant professional experience may also be considered.
