The Master of Event Management provides a significant overview of the events industry and is designed to develop high-level professional skills and knowledge sufficient to equip students for management positions in the broad and multifaceted event industry. With this in mind, the program includes subjects that seek to develop an understanding of event creation, planning, delivery, marketing and evaluation processes and practices for various forms of events in both the Australian and international contexts.

The course is designed to expose students to best practice, current issues, and emerging trends in event management. Industry experts are engaged throughout course and assessment design and subject delivery to ensure the integration of real-world practice against cutting edge theory. Research-inspired course content is delivered by world-leading academics and industry partners.

The course strongly focuses on professional practice, including two innovative capstone subjects - Industry Research Project or Internship Experience - which allow students to work on or with contemporary industry issues and opportunities.
