Graduate Diploma in Event Management

The Graduate Diploma in Event Management provides a broad overview of the events industry and is designed to develop skills and knowledge sufficient to allow graduates to play a significant role in the planning and delivery of public, corporate and other event types. The course provides an avenue for students to apply theoretical and practical skills needed to operate within the events industry.

Graduates have the option of developing their careers in a variety of areas including festivals, exhibitions, sporting events, conferences/meetings, and charities. Additionally, graduates may wish to develop their careers in specialist-aligned areas such as event design/theming or venue management.

Students must complete a total of 48 credit points made up of eight core subjects.
