Graduate Diploma
The Graduate Diploma in Event Management provides a broad overview of the events industry and is designed to develop skills and knowledge sufficient to allow graduates to play a significant role in the planning and delivery of public, corporate and other event types.
The course is designed to expose students to best practice, current issues, and emerging trends in event management. Industry experts are engaged throughout course and assessment design, as well as in subject delivery, to ensure the integration of real-world practice against cutting edge theory. Research-inspired course content is delivered by world-leading academics and industry partners.
Graduates have the option of developing their careers in a variety of areas including festivals, exhibitions, sporting events, conferences/meetings, and charities. Additionally, graduates may wish to develop their careers in specialist-aligned areas such as event design/theming or venue management.
Students must complete a total of 48 credit points made up of eight core subjects.
