About this course

Unique in Australia, the Master of Design responds to the global need for graduates with skills in social and service design and design leadership, who can create and manage high level service experiences and lead social, community and organisational change. This comprehensive and integrated program has been developed in collaboration with industry leaders including the Design Innovation Research Centre situated in the School of Design at UTS. The program focuses on and integrates research, industry collaboration, internationalisation and a design culture through the delivery of specialist, core and transdisciplinary subjects. It provides a postgraduate education that is flexible in both its practice orientation and research integration. With a focus on design evolution, innovative integration of new technologies, practice and student experimentation, the course is delivered by experienced studio leaders who are acknowledged leaders in their industries and professions.
