The UTS Master of Science is an advanced science degree designed to propel students into senior roles in their chosen scientific discipline. Students who complete the Graduate Certificate in Science can progress into the master's degree and receive recognition of prior learning for all four subjects.
The Graduate Certificate in Science is comprised of four subjects. Students choose two electives in their preferred scientific discipline and complete two professional subjects designed to prepare them for professional scientific practice.

The course requires 24 credit points of study, with 12 credit points chosen from the professional stream subjects and 12 credit points from a choice of specified science subjects.
