Successful completion of the Master of Science may qualify you to apply for PhD entry.
Note: Students wishing to articulate from the Graduate Diploma of Science (Sport and Exercise) must advise the school in writing of their intention to articulate prior to graduation from the Graduate Diploma of Science.
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
UniSQ offers a number of bachelor degrees for you to study to help you meet the entry requirements for your chosen degree.
To complete this degree students must complete 16 units.

All students will have the opportunity to come on-campus for residential schools, where you will attend face-to-face lectures and tutorials to gain practical experience, use facilities and specialist equipment, and meet staff and other students.
Note: This Sport and Exercise specialisation includes a practical skill competency component and residential school that is conducted at UniSQ Ipswich.
Practical experience and placementsThis specialisation includes an opportunity to undertake professional placements in settings, such as sport and exercise performance, workplace health, sports coaching, health promotion, and in sport and exercise research. Placements are allocated by the UniSQ Placement Office and all students must be able to meet the physical and other professional requirements of practical experience/placements within this degree.
An approved elective course is available for students who do not want to complete a placement in a sport and exercise setting.
