Professional accreditation

The Human Resource Leadership specialisation is accredited by the Australian HR Institute.

Graduating students automatically qualify for Graduate membership, the professional-level membership offered to recent HR graduates in the first two years of their HR career (GAHRI).

Once graduated, if you've had industry experience for 2 + years HR or people management you will qualify for AHRI professional membership (MAHRI).

Graduate members receive all the professional level benefits at a subsidised rate including professional indemnity insurance and full access to member resources to build valuable networks for their future in the profession.

  • Completion of an approved Bachelor degree in the area of business, or equivalent
    or
  • equivalent minimum of three years professional work experience (at Skill level 1 -3).
English language requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
