Bachelor of Health (Honours) (Midwifery)

• UniSQ's Bachelor of Health (Honours) (Midwifery) is designed for registered midwives and related health science professionals as a pathway to a PhD to advance their career into academia and research.
• The honours degree provides you with an ideal platform to expand and develop knowledge within Midwifery. You will learn research techniques and apply them to the area in the health sector you're most passionate about.
• Experience individual study, working with a senior academic and researcher who will guide you to undertake a small research project within one year.

Once you've completed the Bachelor of Health (Honours) you can choose to embark on further study with UniSQ's Phd.

• You will elevate your professional standing to undertake a PhD.
• You will acquire advanced research skills which could lead to research career opportunities in the health sector.

To complete this degree students must complete 8 units. Most courses (similar to 'subjects') are valued at 1 unit. To study full-time you would usually complete 4 units per semester.
