The VCA offers innovative, industry-focused graduate design courses: the Master of Design for Performance focusing on set and costume design for live performance (theatre, music theatre, opera and dance) and the Master of Production Design for Screen focusing on production design and art direction for film and television. At this information evening, learn how these programs can help set you up with the skills, resources and practical experience to launch your career in stage or screen design.

Meet with lecturers and industry leaders Anna Cordingley (stage design) and Juliet McDonnell (screen design), together with course coordinator Leon Salom and current students in the programs. Find out how VCA designers work closely with directors, choreographers, cinematographers and performers across areas of VCA Dance, VCA Theatre, VCA Music Theatre, and VCA Film and Television, to support and construct story through the language of design.

Our graduate programs in design welcome students from many varieties of creative backgrounds, including visual art, theatre, filmmaking and all areas of design: from architecture to fashion.

Event notes: registration from 6pm, for a 6.30pm start.
