You will graduate ready to identify and support the individual learning needs of every student in your classroom.

  1. Become a secondary teacher. Register with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) to teach across all secondary years. You will be qualified to teach two learning areas and introduced to a third, to expand your knowledge and employability.
  2. Access an unparalleled placement experience. Become an active member of your placement school community from semester one, with support from a school-based Mentor Teacher and a university-based Clinical Specialist.
  3. Take advantage of guaranteed entry and accelerated study options. Domestic students with a University of Melbourne bachelors degree can access early admission and a Commonwealth Supported Place, while Year 12 students can secure their place with a Graduate Degree Package. Students can also choose to graduate in 1.5 years through our Accelerated Mode option.
