What you will learn

The Graduate Diploma is a 125-point course, with 14 available streams.

You'll complete:

  • 50 points of study at Level 2 or above (equivalent to second-year subjects in a bachelors degree)
  • 50 points of study at Level 3 (equivalent to third-year subjects in a bachelors degree)
  • 25 points of study at masters level.

Not all streams can be completed full time.

Career pathways

At the end of the course, you'll be well-placed to continue with graduate study, particularly in the Master of Science course related to the stream you focus on.

Alternatively, you might take your broad scientific skill set out into the workforce, and find a career in your area of interest.

Note: Commonwealth Support Places (CSPs) will be allocated in timely application rounds, you will need to have submitted your full application prior to the timely application deadline to ensure you have the best chance to obtain a CSP.

Processing time

You can expect a decision 6-8 weeks after you submit your application (including all relevant documents).
