The University of Melbourne has teamed up with the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) to develop a compact, six-month diploma program that provides affordable quality psychiatry training to healthcare professionals in developing as well as developed countries. If you are a medical practitioner who wants to upskill your qualifications in psychiatry and provide the latest in quality mental healthcare to your patients, this is the course for you.
Graduates of this course will command greater skill and confidence when treating patients with mental illness. They will also be better equipped to deliver optimal healthcare in culturally and socioeconomically diverse settings, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to the wider community affected by mental health issues.
