Graduate Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Computer Science provides students with any undergraduate degree and some programming/maths experience with the equivalent of a major in Computer Science.
The course will augment students' existing knowledge with considerable technical expertise in computer science, including exposure to a variety of programming paradigms, an understanding of the systematic processes underpinning the software development lifecycle, and an appreciation of advanced topics in computing.
The course provides a pathway to the Master of Computer Science for high achieving students.
Students will complete between one and three core subjects, with the electives making up a total of four subjects.

To continue to study advanced computer science, and complete a research project, progress to the Master of Computer Science.
For professional accreditation as an engineer or computing professional, swap to one of these graduate degrees:
Semester 1 (starts 28 February 2022): 30 November 2021
Semester 2 (starts 25 July 2022): 31 May 2022
