Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships are funded by the federal government to provide support to postgraduate research students.

Eligibility: Domestic students only. Available to future and current domestic research students in all disciplines.
- To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be a domestic student (Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen)
- be applying for or currently undertaking a Higher Degree by Research course (PhD, Professional Doctorate, Masters by Research).
The scholarship is provided to offset the costs of tuition fees for domestic research students enrolled in higher degree by research courses. For more information see the RTP Fees Offset Conditions of Award.

No application required for domestic candidates. This scholarship is automatically awarded to domestic research students undertaking a Higher Degree by Research course at the University of Canberra.
