Entry Requirements

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline as approved by the University; demonstrate a minimum of two years relevant experience, paid or voluntary by submission of a CV including 2 referees; and attend a pre-admission interview at the University of Canberra.

Applicants need to meet all three criteria:
A) hold a Bachelor of Nursing
B) be registered, or be eligible to register, as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), or equivalent overseas regulatory body
C) be employed in a relevant health setting*

*The health setting must be relevant to the nursing stream chosen.


Admission to this course is competitive. Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic merit and the number of available places.

Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Design Strategies may apply and receive credit for the 3 Graduate Certificate (level G) units.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
A) a completed bachelor degree in medical radiation science or
B) a completed bachelor degree in any field and successful completion of at least two units of degree level anatomy and physiology

Applicants who do not meet the minimum of two degree level units of anatomy and physiology can meet these requirements by completion of the following units (as non-award study):

- 6529 Systemic Anatomy and Physiology
- 9808 Regional Anatomy and Physiology
