The Master of Applied Clinical Epidemiology (MACE), offered in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) as an industry partner, prepares graduates for a career as a performance health management specialist within Australia and internationally.
The course has been co-designed with Australia's leading practitioners in the area of performance health implementation program development to respond to an emerging professional development priority.
The course integrates practical workplace embedded training and theoretical issues, including the skills necessary for the implementation of proactive performance health in individuals and targeted populations, biostatistics, applied epidemiology, health implementation, research and leadership.
It prepares students for their future work as performance health management specialists at the interface of theory, research and practice.
Graduates will have specialised knowledge for professional practice in health implementation and skills for evaluation of research in optimising human performance health.
There are currently no formal credit transfer arrangements for entry to this course. Any previous study or work experience will only be considered as part of the application process in accordance with current course rules and university policy. Credit is not permitted towards completion of a graduate certificate.
