About this course

In this course, you will develop a suite of teaching and mentoring skills to maximise your own students' learning, with a focus on areas such as curriculum, assessment and digital technologies. Units are taught by internationally recognised educators and you will be encouraged to carry out action research in your own teaching, putting into practice and gathering feedback on what you are learning in the course. You will also receive guidance on preparing an application for Associate Fellowship or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. A fee waiver is available for UWA staff with the support of your Head of School.

(a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;
and
(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent;

(c) current employment in tertiary teaching.
