  • to have successfully completed 3 years of study towards an approved qualification at an overseas partner institution, with a formal pathway to the Master of Bioengineering (Professional).

You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.

If your bachelor's degree in engineering was not awarded in these disciplines, you must have successfully completed all of the following discipline content in your tertiary studies:

  • biology
  • transport and transfer
  • thermodynamics and mass and energy balances
  • and at least 1 of the following:

  • General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C)
  • Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C)
  • Two of Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Specialist Mathematics or Physics (Units 3 & 4, C), at least one of which must be Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

BE - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills.

CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands.

OET is not accepted.

The Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) is a one-year program of advanced courses designed to provide a deeper understanding of all aspects of computer technology and prepare you for leadership roles.
Entry Requirements
Prerequisites
  • a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, or
  • a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) which includes all of the relevant discipline content (see below)
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.
A bachelor's degree awarded more than 5 years prior to admission will not be considered.
If your bachelor's degree was not awarded in computer science, you must have successfully completed all of the following discipline content in your tertiary studies:
  • data structures and algorithms
  • at least 2 programming courses
  • discrete mathematics or algebra
  • At least 2 of the following:
  • computer organisation or computer architecture
  • computer networks
  • operating systems
  • databases or information systems
