Moesha Johnson is studying Biomedical Science at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast campus. " I chose to study biomedical science because I'd like to be a surgeon someday. This is the best pathway I can take to get there. I really enjoyed studying this course so far, it's being super eye opening, fascinating just learning about how I think and process my thoughts just how my body functtions from day to day life for me."

She is studying the effect of climate change on fish distribution and how fish will change their range as the ocean warms. She describes the experience of studying at the National Marine Science Centre, located on the border of the Solitary Islands Marine Park in Coffs Harbour.
