Moesha Johnson is studying Biomedical Science at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast campus. " I chose to study biomedical science because I'd like to be a surgeon someday. This is the best pathway I can take to get there. I really enjoyed studying this course so far, it's being super eye opening, fascinating just learning about how I think and process my thoughts just how my body functtions from day to day life for me." 

For Indian student Sebi, Master of Engineering Management, Master of Business Administration builds on his existing skills as an engineer and makes him think beyond the basic management to how well a company can manage from an engineering perspective through sustainability, asset management and stakeholder engagement

This double degree in engineering and business management takes the engineering, infrastructure and asset manager on a journey, building knowledge and skills to meet the strategic objectives of their organisation and to build a better culture for their organisation and their local communities.

Southern Cross University PhD candidate Sophie Pryor has been fascinated by the sea since she was a child. She is studying the effect of climate change on fish distribution and how fish will change their range as the ocean warms. She describes the experience of studying at the National Marine Science Centre, located on the border of the Solitary Islands Marine Park in Coffs Harbour.

Studying music at Southern Cross has been a great choice for Swedish student Sophie. She's developed more routines as she climbs her way up to a professional level. The creativity of the Northern Rivers region has given Sophie hands-on experience at festivals in the area as well as running the weekly 'Open Mic' nights on campus.
