A Master of Food Science in Industry Practice and Innovation will give you the qualification you need to work as a Product Quality Manager, New Product Development Officer or Food Safety Officer in the food and beverage industry. Additional employment opportunities include dedicated research roles at organisations such as the FIPWA food processing research facility and in biological or chemistry-based analytical service providers to the food industry such as PathWest and ChemCentre.
Graduates will be eligible for Australian Institute of Food Science Professional membership having completed their Masters and three years of relevant professional experience.

Bachelor degree in any field (AQF Level 7) OR successful completion of the requirements for G1095 (Graduate Diploma in Food Science). AQF Level 7 qualifications broadly relevant to food science, including study in biological or chemical sciences, would be valuable preparation for entry into this program. Admission is at the discretion of the Academic Chair
