Alternatively applicants can have completed the Bachelor of Engineering Science, with equivalents considered, successful applicants with an Engineers Australia accredited 4 year AQF level 8 Bachelor of Engineering Honours (or equivalent) may be eligible for a reduced course duration through the award of credit and recognition of prior learning.

  All applicants are required to have the equivalent of 6 months full time research (which must involve a research output which includes the conception and design of the project, and analysis and interpretation of findings) if applying with a Masters qualification other than a Master by Research.
  Applicants seeking online study will be required to provide additional information to support their application, as not all projects nor disciplines are suited to online study.
  Special entry may be considered for applications to the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) who will be required to attend an audition and/or interview.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge in a particular discipline to enrol in a major area of specialisation (eg. a Major in their bachelor degree) and intermediate skills to enrol in a minor area of specialisation (eg. a Minor in their bachelor degree), and provide a resume, In addition to satisfying academic entry criteria, applicants for pre-service teacher education courses at Edith Cowan University must also satisfy non-academic criteria. • The following course-specific admission requirements are mandatory and must be satisfied by all applicants. These requirements are in addition to or supersede the minimum requirements outlined within the Academic admission requirements band section below.

  All applicants are required to have current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), and have a Bachelor of Nursing, with equivalents considered, and have a postgraduate qualification in their specialty area (postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma (AQF Level 8) or a higher qualification), and have five years full-time post-registration experience, of which two years must be in the chosen specialty area working at an Advanced Practice level. Evidence of this is to be provided in a Curriculum Vitae, along with evidence of the professional associations' membership and ongoing contribution to the profession.
  
  Applicants are also required to be working a minimum of 20 hours per week in their specialty area, provide a letter of support from their employer, as well as a letter of agreement from their nominated Professional Mentor and a Clinical Mentor. The Professional Mentor must be an endorsed Nurse Practitioner for at least three years and the Clinical Mentor should either be an endorsed Nurse Practitioner for at least three years, or a Registered Medical Officer with at least three years' experience in specialty area at registrar level or higher.

  • Occupational English Test (OET) with a minimum score of B in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking);
  • Pearson English Test (PTE) Academic with a minimum overall score of 65 and a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking);
  • TOEFL iBT with a minimum total score of 94 and the following minimum score in each section of the test:
    * 24 for listening
    * 24 for reading,
    * 27 for writing, and
    * 23 for speaking;
  • Bachelor degree from an approved country;
  • Successfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at postgraduate level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent); or
