About this scholarship

The Faculty of Business and Law is offering up to 10 scholarships per year to eligible students who have applied for the Masters of Laws (LLM) program at the Deakin Law School.

Benefits

Fee reduction of $6000 for the duration of the course ($750 per credit point).

This scholarship is available for the normal duration of the course (one year full-time or part-time equivalent).

Eligibility

The student must satisfy all of the following criteria:

  • completion of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent, with not less than four years of full‐time study at a university or other approved educational institution
  • minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 in LLB or equivalent
  • demonstrated English language competency at band B; overall 6.5, no band less than 6.0
  • Minimum of two years’ work experience in law or a law‐related field.

How to apply

Students who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically assessed for the scholarship and will be advised of the outcome.
