This course will provide you with the opportunity to deepen your skills and understanding of key practice areas in relation to domestic and family violence which are reflected in course electives covering child safety, men's behaviour change and working with victims and survivors. The knowledge and skills you will gain by completing this course are transferable across a wide range of professions and occupations where workers encounter domestic and family violence issues.
Over four units, you'll explore the frameworks and theories that support good practice and strategies to work with men who have used violence within their families.

An Occupational English Test with Grades A or B only in each of the four components.
English test results remain valid for no more than two years between final examination date and the date of commencement of study and must appear on a single result certificate.

By completing the Graduate Certificate in Domestic and Family Violence Practice it will prepare you to pursue employment in criminal justice, child safety organisations, health services, non-government organisations including domestic violence services.
