Thiman Samarasinghe

I am currently working as a software engineer in Sri Lanka.

I like coding but I want to do something more than coding such as software designing or designing software architecture, so I think this is the time to acquire that knowledge and be smart in IT.

To go forward in the IT industry I have to obtain more knowledge and keep my knowledge up to date. It's very important, and maintaining quality and standards is a must. To achieve all of these I should do a postgraduate diploma and Master's degree.

I am currently working as a software engineer in Sri Lanka. I have done many local and international projects using many new technologies. During those projects, I faced some knowledge issues. I think a Graduate Diploma is the best option

I have a dream to be a software architect. That is why I decided to apply for a graduate diploma in information technology, so I searched for suitable courses to achieve my goal. I selected the CQUniversity February intake.

I have done British Computer Society (BCS) and all three levels of the exam. After that I learned Android development; it is Pearson Assured. I also learned C++ programming, web design and networking. I like to improve my IT knowledge because my future goals need that knowledge. I think after doing a graduate diploma I'll start my master's.

I have more than three years of working experience as a software engineer

These programs have content such as mobile application development, project management and many important subjects which can improve the knowledge I have now. I like to learn new technology such as IoT, robotics etc.

Getting global knowledge about information technology and foreign exposure both can be achieved by doing a graduate diploma with a Master's.

After successfully completing those programs I hope to work as a software architect and release my own product and start my own IT company with my friends.
