All of our projects we work on look at having a positive social and environmental impact, and we are constantly assessing what we do to make sure this is the case. One of the projects I worked on was the Female Hygiene and Sanitation Project. What I loved about this was the interaction with local women it the community, but also the fact it empowers women socially and financially, and in turn can help to contribute to longer term solutions to global issues such as climate change. I think this flow on effect is pretty incredible.
