Completing a graduate certificate or diploma in zoology will help you gain theoretical and practical knowledge to help in meeting some of the world’s toughest challenges like global food shortage, environmental and wildlife management, biosecurity, and competition for limited resources. It will provide expertise in one or more areas of broad fields of animal and wildlife sciences.
Most graduate certificates or diplomas of zoology will take six months to complete if taken full-time, or one year if taken as part-time study.
Zoology graduates may find employment in private companies (such as fisheries, aquaculture, resources sector), in government agencies (for example, environment, parks and wildlife, state fisheries), and in public sector (such as museums and zoos).

To be considered for this program, you will need to have completed a bachelor’s degree in zoology, animal biology, veterinary science or a related field. Some institutions will require excellent academic performance as well as work experience in the same discipline.
