Graduate Certificate or Diploma of Physiotherapy

Admission to the Graduate Diploma of Clinical Physiology will require an approved bachelors degree in science in the clinical physiology discipline as described below.

Students will hold an appropriate bachelor degree in third year level human physiology or physiology and electronics instrumentation and computing with a GPA of at least 5.0 or other equivalent qualifications and/or experience which, in the opinion of the Program Director, provides adequate background knowledge to undertake the program.

Applicants will be required to undertake an interview (in person or by teleconference) for admission to this program.

Admission to the course requires:

• a medical degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification
• a minimum of 12 months' experience in a clinical area related to mental health
• current professional indemnity insurance to practise psychotherapy in NSW
• satisfactory performance at an interview as required.

Admission to the Graduate Diploma in Medicine (Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy) requires:

• a medical degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and
• a minimum of 12 months' experience in a clinical area related to mental health
• current professional indemnity insurance to practise psychotherapy in NSW
• satisfactory performance at an interview as required.

Admission to the course requires:

• successful completion of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Science in Medicine, or a bachelor or postgraduate degree in a health-related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and
• minimum of 12 months' experience in a clinical area related to mental health
• current professional indemnity insurance to practise psychotherapy in NSW
• satisfactory performance at an interview as required.

Admission to the course requires:

• a bachelor or postgraduate degree in a health-related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and
• minimum of 12 months experience in a clinical area related to mental health
• current professional indemnity insurance to practise psychotherapy in NSW
• satisfactory performance at an interview as required.
