The Master of Computer Science provides you with skills and abilities to solve complex real-world problems by teaching you how to develop and deploy computer applications, while integrating computer science methods with effective management strategies.

Throughout your degree you will study subjects in IT project management, advanced programming, algorithms and data structures. You will also have the opportunity to specialise in one of the following majors offered at the Wollongong campus:

  • Machine learning and big data
  • Network and information security
  • Software engineering
  • Cyber security (also offered at our Liverpool campus)

If you do not wish to select a specialisation, you will complete advanced subjects providing you with specific knowledge, as well as professional skills in computer science.

During this degree you will also put theory into practice with an individual capstone project.

The Master of Computer Science will equip you with independent learning strategies to keep up-to-date with innovations in technology and computer science, industry trends and standards.
