The Master of Business (Double Specialisation) is suitable for managers and middle managers seeking to further their career in two specialised fields of business. Theoretical and practical knowledge and skills are developed through the study of foundation, specialisation specific core subjects and electives. The specialised knowledge and skills are consolidated through the completion of an industry based research project.
You will study the theory and practice of business including topics such as accounting and financial management, organisational behaviour, marketing and explore global business challenges from multiple perspectives.
After undertaking the foundation subjects, you will develop discipline-specific knowledge in two specialisations from the below list:
You also have the option of undertaking a Master of Business with a single specialisation that allows you to select a single specialisation and complete the course in 1 to 1. 5 years full-time.
If you are considering studying business administration at a strategic level and have relevant full-time work experience you should consider the Master of Business Administration.
If you have already completed an undergraduate degree in Commerce or a related area you may be eligible to receive credit for prior learning for this course.
A recognised Bachelors degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%; or a UOW Graduate Certificate in Business. Other tertiary qualifications combined with extensive professional work experience will be considered.
