Graduate Certificate
Project management and leadership skills have now become essential for managers in many industries.
The Graduate Certificate in Project Leadership and Management introduces and develops a wide range of contemporary skills to be used by project team leaders and managers. Building on the foundations of responsible management, this course emphasises the dynamic interplay between ethical practice, leadership decision making and teamwork for successful project delivery.
Throughout the degree, you will learn the forms, roles, and diversity of project management and its uses in organisations. Relevant industry case-based scenarios will be used to develop your critical skills and techniques for managing processes and stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes.
Domestic students have the option to study on campus or via distance delivery mode. Distance refers to learning activities that do not require you to attend campus, but instead allow you to join pre-scheduled virtual classes.
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Project Leadership and Management, you may enrol in the Master of Project Management and will be eligible for credit for the four subjects completed within the graduate certificate.
If you meet the additional work experience requirements for the Master of Business Administration (MBA), you will be eligible for credit for three subjects completed within the graduate certificate. Progression into other master's programs offered by Sydney Business School, UOW may also be possible with some credit.
