The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Scholar) will equip you with the fundamentals of engineering, both technically and via communication skills. Faculty members who drive relevant and cutting-edge research will teach you how to apply this knowledge in real situations, preparing you to engineer the future.

Choose from a wide range of majors including architectural, biomedical, civil, computer and autonomous systems, electrical and electronics, environmental, materials, mechanical, mechatronic, mining, or telecommunications engineering and Internet of Things.

From second year, scholar students will also have the option to complete a double major. Combinations include civil and environmental, civil and mining, electrical and electronics and computer and autonomous systems, mechanical and materials, mechanical and mining, mining and environmental, mining and materials.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Scholar) includes 12-weeks hands-on industry experience, either in Australia or overseas, as well as a range of industry projects and other career-ready learning opportunities.

This degree is designed to provide an enriched educational experience, encouraging high achievers to continue further studies and research. It will also give you the opportunity to participate in tailored mentoring and advanced academic study.
