Bachelor (Honours)
The Bachelor of Data Science and Analytics (Honours) is a one-year degree that offers high-achieving graduates the opportunity to explore an in-depth research topic in an area of their interest. It can also bridge higher-degree research programs such as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Working with one or more academic supervisors aligned with your research interests, you will develop a substantial research project and literature review alongside core coursework subjects that will supplement your research.
Honours project topics are various and negotiable, and you'll be encouraged and supported to pursue your interests. Whatever topic you choose, prospective employers will value your ability to achieve a complex goal, meet deadlines, investigate independently, use resources effectively and write coherently.
There are opportunities for scholarships from corporate partners, plus summer scholarships and undergraduate research projects with academic staff, and access to programs offered by the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) ACE Network.
