Graduate Diploma
To be considered for admission, candidates would be required to hold an undergraduate degree (AQF Level 7) as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without any restrictions. Enrolments in the program will be capped initially with a limited number of places available as per the ANMAC accreditation requirements.

Post admission requirementsIn order to commence clinical placement, students must comply with the Placement Essentials including: Blue Card, be registered as an RN with AHPRA, National Police Check, Vaccinations & TB Screening, First Aid Certificate, QLD Health Student Orientation Checklist, QLD Health Student Deed Poll, Code of Conduct. In addition, students are required to complete individual health service requirements as directed by the placement provider.

Students who do not comply with these requirements will be unable to complete the clinical practice component of their program and will be unable to meet graduation requirements.

All students admitted to the Graduate Diploma in Midwifery will be Registered Nurse's with AHPRA and hold an AQF Level 7, or above, Nursing qualification. They therefore are deemed to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's (NMBA) English language skills registration standard (NMBA, 2019).
