Masters (Coursework)
The MEd TESOL course has been designed to provide a comprehensive and contemporary examination of the most salient matters concerning English language learning and teaching. Course provision offers flexibility as a primary tenet, allowing participants to move between delivery modes to meet specific requirements. The MEd TESOL course is provided fully online, or on-campus in Launceston. Further flexibility is achieved through the design of assignments to meet the needs and requirements of individuals. Professional and academic scholarship is a high priority, and participants are encouraged to engage in a scholarly approach within a community of learners.
For international students, the Master of Education (TESOL) specialisation is not available in a on-campus mode in 2017. International students please refer to the International Future Students webpage.
For domestic students, an alternative pathway to a Master of Education (TESOL) is available on a
Commonwealth Supported (CSP) basis for the first eight units through the Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (TESOL) course.
Students who enrol in and complete four TESOL coursework units in the Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (TESOL), will be able to exit with the Graduate Certificate in Education (TESOL).
