Masters (Coursework)
The Australian Maritime College Master of Applied Science degree program focuses on the maritime industries. The program is delivered by distance and the following specialisations are available subject to student demand:
Shipyard Operations (not on offer in 2019)
Marine Engineering
Shipping Operations Management
Maritime Safety (not on offer in 2019)
Operations Management (not on offer in 2019)
The program, which incorporates a Graduate Certificate and a Graduate Diploma as entry or exit points, provides students with in-depth exposure to a broad range of technical, operational and commercial topics critical to effective and efficient maritime operations. The five specialisations enable students to select a named pathway to suit their own particular interest.
Students are expected to enrol initially in the Graduate Certificate. However, they will be able to enrol directly into either the Graduate Diploma or Master's program if they so chose but their entry into these two latter stages of the program will depend upon their having completed the assessment requirements of the Graduate Certificate and the Graduate Diploma respectively.
Students will be able to enter the program:

Students will be able to enter the Masters following completion of the Graduate Diploma or a similar and equivalent award from another tertiary institution.
