Entry requirements

Applicants with higher education study
To be eligible for an offer, applicants must have:

  • A completed AQF7 bachelor's degree or above, or approved equivalent#, in any discipline.

Applicants with work experience
To be eligible for an offer, applicants must have:

  • Qualifications, relevant work experience or other special circumstances, as approved by the College Executive Dean or delegated authority.

You must provide evidence to support your application on the basis of work experience, in particular a copy of your CV demonstrating your work experience, and letters of reference from line managers or similar to confirm your work experience. In the case of applicants who have worked as a sole trader or consultant, additional evidence to support the level of experience must be provided.

#An equivalent qualification from an overseas institution as assessed by the University with reference to the equivalencies identified by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR).

English Language Requirements
International students must also provide evidence that they have met the minimum English Language Test Score requirements forPostgraduate coursework programs as published in the University's English Language Requirements. These tests must have beencompleted in the 24 months preceding the application date.

    Course structure

    To graduate from the Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business course, you must satisfactorily complete 50 credit points of study from the core units listed below in the schedule.

    Credit for prior study or work

    Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business may be eligible for credit of up to 50 cp into the 37O1 Master of Business Administration or 37O2 Master of Business Administration (Executive), subject to the approval of the MBA Director and meeting the admission requirements for the relevant course, particularly the requirements of work experience.
