The Graduate Certificate in E-Health is offered by the Centre for Rural Health - externally, using online teaching and learning technologies, over a minimum completion time of 1 year part time (over two semesters), and a maximum 3 years part time.

Entry requirements

The course is suitable for health professionals who wish to enhance their understanding and ability to work effectively with information and communication technologies. The course is also designed for graduates who wish to pursue a career as a health informatics specialist.

In order to qualify for admission to the Certificate or the Diploma courses, applicants should

  • hold a three-year degree or a diploma with a major in a health related or communications technology area,
    OR
  • have experience and/or qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Director of the CRH.
    As all units in the course use online resources, students need to have regular access to email and the internet.
