Wigram Allen Scholarship for Juris Doctor Award

Background: The Wigram Allen Scholarship were originally founded on gifts of 381 pounds in 1867 and 500 pounds in 1883 from Sir George Wigram Allen. Given to encourage the study of law, these funds are now used to provide commencing scholarships for the Juris Doctor.

Open to:

• Applicants with an unconditional offer of full-time admission into the Juris Doctor (JD) at the University of Sydney Law School.
• Students who have already commenced their JD studies, or students transferring from other programs are not eligible to apply.

Value: $6,000 per annum

Duration: Full-time duration of the degree.
