Background: The purpose of the Beth Spence Scholarship is to provide support for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate within the Sydney Nursing School at the University of Sydney. It aims to improve the integration of care for individuals and families at times of vulnerability.
Open to:
- Open to Australian citizens or permanent residents who satisfy the general eligibility criteria for the PhD at Sydney Nursing School.
- Hold a current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a registered nurse or midwife
- Are currently enrolled PhD candidates (or apply as a PhD candidate in conjunction with the Beth Spence Scholarship Application) in the Sydney Nursing School
- Candidates in their final full-time equivalent year (1 year full-time or 2 years part-time) of PhD candidature are not eligible to apply.
